M1 Fixed Broadband

Finally, M1 started their Fixed Broadband. This comes as a surprising news for me.

M1 is using StarHub's cable network and managed to offer a lower subscription fees than StarHub.

Their top management must have struck an extremely good deal with StarHub.

If I'm not tied down by SingTel contract, I may consider signing up M1 fixed broadband. Nevertheless, good move by M1. Hope that their fixed broadband is better than their "already very fast and stable" mobile broadband.

Don't regret if you sign up. Slow youtube, slow international links of Starhub will appear on M1 as well.

Starhub maxonline is always slow connecting overseas. So, the same problem will exist on M1 using starhuv cable.

Have you tried asking StarHub the reason for slow connection to oversea sites?

I just terminated Suxhub . Youtube lag like shit.

To my surprise M1 BB is damn smooth with youtube and video streams even wiht M1 BB (mobile 2mbps plan using USB Stick)

If the fix broadband uses the same network out of SIngapore, I think it is worth it.
