MRT rides surge to a high, with a monthly total hits of 44.9 million is a sign that motorists are leaving cars at home.
It seems that it doesn't make sense anymore to drive into the city with ERP everywhere.
And because of the rise in ridership, SMRT is giving away breakfast discounts.
According to The Straits Times, the nine stations where breakfast discount flyers will be distributed are Orchard, Somerset, Dhoby Ghaut, City Hall, Raffles Place, Lavender, Bugis, Tanjong Pagar and Outram Park.
The climate is right for trains.
